Carnegie Supernova Project reports the optical spectroscopic classifications of optical transients. The spectra were obtained on Nov 27 UT with the Las Campanas 2.5-m du Pont telescope (+ WFCCD).
Name | Source | Type | Phase | Redshift | Notes
---------------------------------------------------------
ASASSN-14kp | ASASSN | II | near max | 0.023 | 1
ASASSN-14kq | ASASSN | Ia | -2 | 0.034 | 2
LSQ14gfn | LSQ | Ia | -5 | 0.12 | 3
Notes
1) The redshift is measured from the narrow host H-alpha and H-beta emission.
Reported in ATel #6736.
2) The redshift is from the presumed host galaxy 2MASX J23451480-2947009.
Reported in ATel #6737.
3) The redshift is from the supernova features.
The target is supplied by the La Silla-Quest survey (Baltay et al., PASP, 2013, 125, 683).
