We report the discovery, with the 0.76-m Katzman Automatic Imaging Telescope (KAIT) at Lick Observatory, of a possible new supernova in the nearby galaxy NGC 6908 (z=0.010693). The new object, dubbed PSN J20250386-2449133 (by the IAU), is located at (J2000.0) coordinates RA = 20:25:03.86, Dec = -24:49:13.3. Following discovery in an unfiltered image obtained at 02:03 UT on 2014 Nov. 03, KAIT autonomously began a sequence of triggered follow-up observations in the U, B, V, R, I, and clear (roughly R) filters beginning only 12 minutes later. Using stars from the USNO-B1 catalog for reference, we measure R~16.0 mag at this time. The target was also marginally detected on Oct. 29.131 UT with R~17.8, but no detection at this location one night earlier on 2014 Oct. 28 with image limiting mag of R~18.5, suggesting this might be a quite young SN.
