We report radio observations with the Very Large Array (VLA) of the young supernova of type Ic, PSN J20250386-2449133 in galaxy NGC 6908, discovered by Katzman Automatic Imaging Telescope (KAIT) at Lick Observatory (ATel #6659, #6666, #6667).
We observed the position of the supernova with VLA at a mid-time of 2014 Nov 07.1 UT utilizing two, ~1 GHz sidebands centered at 5 & 7 GHz. No radio emission has been detected at the location of the supernova down to a 3 sigma upper limit of 0.07 mJy. At the distance of the host galaxy (40 Mpc), this corresponds to a limit on spectral luminosity of < 1.5 x 10^{26} erg/s/Hz.
We thank the NRAO staff for carrying out this observation.
