FLOYDS Classification of PSN J20250386-2449133 as a Pre-Max Type Ic SN

We obtained a spectrum of PSN J20250386-2449133 (ATel #6659) on 2014 November 4 (UT) with the robotic FLOYDS instrument mounted on the Faulkes Telescope South. Using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find a good fit to the peculiar Ic SN 2004aw a few days before maximum light. This phase is consistent with the pre-discovery detection and limit reported in ATel #6666. We also find a plausible fit using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ 634, 1190) to the 91T-like SN 1999ac at 11 days before maximum light, though this phase is less consistent with the photometric data.
