Following the report on gamma-ray flaring activity from S5 1217+71 = 2FGL J1219.2+7107 detected by Fermi LAT (Ciprini et al., ATel #4885) MASTER-Amur auto-detection system has discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 12h 20m 03.60s +71d 05m 31.3s on 2013-03-14.62424 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 15.8m (limit 18.6m). We have reference image without OT on 2012-11-20.63846 UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 18.6m.
The object was also observed by the same MASTER-Amur telescope in survey mode on 2013 Mar. 02.566 UT with unfiltered magnitude 16.8+/-0.2.
