MASTER-Tunka auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 12h 20m 03.68s +71d 05m 31.1s on 2014-03-27.72841 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 18.0m (limit 19.7m). The OT is seen in 6 images. There is no minor planet at this place. We have reference image without OT on 2012-02-18.71240 UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 20.1m.
The OT is identical to flat spectrum radio quasar S5 1217+71 = TXS 1217+713 = 2FGL J1219.2+7107. It was detected in bright outburst a year ago, in Mar. 2013, by Fermi LAT (Ciprini et al., ATel #4885) and reached unfiltered magnitude 15.8 in the follow up MASTER observations (ATel #4889). Since then the object has faded below the detection limit by MASTER with the latest non-detection on 2014-03-03.762 UT (fainter than 18.4m). Current observations by MASTER suggest the possible onset of the new activity episode. Multiwavelength observations are required. MASTER-Tunka Mar. 27 detection and reference images are uploaded to http://observ.pereplet.ru/images/122003.64710532.0.jpg
