As part of a monitoring program of potential Gamma Ray sources detected by Fermi LAT. We have observed a NIR brightening of the radio source PKS1725+123 cross identified with CGRaBSJ1728+1215 a QSO (z=0.588). From observations on June 16th 2012, epoch JD2456094.9399 and earlier on epoch JD2455675.9841, we determine the flux in the H band to be 15.970+/- 0.09 and 17.208 +/- 0.08 respectively. It is then, rising in the NIR. An increase in flux of a factor of 3 in about 418 days is reported here. Observations were carried out with the 2.1m telescope of the Guillermo Haro Observatory operated by the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (Mexico), equipped with the instrument CANICA a NIR camera. We encourage further multi wavelength coverage.
