Spectroscopic Observation of PNV J19450648+1822422: Likely a Classical Nova?

We report the spectroscopic observation of PNV J19450648+1822422.
We obtained its spectrum on 2026-08-25.431 UT with the fiber-fed integral field spectrograph (KOOLS-IFU; Matsubayashi et al. 2025) on the Seimei telescope (Kurita et al. 2020) at the Okayama Observatory of Kyoto University.
Our spectrum shows many absorption features.
Since Hα, Hβ, and possibly He I λ6678 have P Cygni profiles (of ∼−1500 km/s, −1300 km/s, −1200 km/s, respectively), we propose that this object is likely a nova.
However, such a nova spectrum with many absorption features is very rare; we encourage follow-up observations to reveal the nature of this fascinating object.
