Following the revised localisation of the accreting millisecond X-ray pulsar MAXI J1816-195 (ATel #15467), we examined images of the field recently taken with the 2m Liverpool Telescope. On June 19, 2022 and June 22, 2022 (UT), we obtained 1200s exposures for the field of MAXI J1816-195 with the z-band filter. At the new position of MAXI J1816-195, there are 2-3 sources blended together within the 2.2 arcsec X-ray error circle. In order to identify the correct counterpart, future observations are required to investigate their variability.
