The Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF; ATel #11266) reports Palomar 48-inch (P48) observations of the optical transient AT2018cow/ATLAS18qqn (ATel #11737, #11734, #11732, #11729, #11727). While reference images from the P48 have not yet been generated for this field, we are able to produce host-subtracted photometry using Pan-STARRS1 images.

AT2018cow was not detected in the i-band on 2018-06-13.17206 (JD = 2458282.672), to a depth of 19.5 mag. This provides a stricter constraint (by ~1 day) on the rise-time compared to ATel #11727. Furthermore, on 2018-06-17.1953 (JD = 2458286.695) we derive an i-band magnitude of 14.32 +/- 0.01.
