H-alpha confirmation of the probable nova M31N 2016-09b

We report H-alpha observation of the nova candidate PNV J00421729+4109444 (M31N 2016-09b, ATel 9552). The object shows strong H-alpha emission in 5x180 sec H-alpha co-added frames. The observations are carried out with the 2m RCC telescope at Rozhen NAO, Bulgaria, equipped with the focal reducer FoReRo2. R and V magnitudes are also available.
