We report an optical spectrum (range 370-920 nm) of PS16pf that was obtained on UT Jan.18.8 2015 with the 2.4-m telescope (+YFOSC) at LiJiang Gaomeigu Station of Yunnan Astronomical Observatories. The spectrum is consistent with that of a type II supernova at a few days after the maximum light, showing prominent P-cygni profiles of H_alpha, H_beta and He I 5876 lines. Removing the redshift of 0.0297 for the host galaxy IC 2249, we derive an expansion velocity of about 11500 km/s from the absoption minimum of H_alpha line. PS16pf is the 100th supernova classified by the Lijiang 2.4-m telescope.
