We report Swift observations of DES14C1kia (ATEL 6877) performed on Jan 6 at 3:15 (UT) and Jan 7 at 01:39 (UT), The Swift/UVOT was using the U filter in the first observation and the UVW1, UVM2, and UVW2 filters in the second observation. We detected the source as U = 20.07+-0.07, UVW1 = 20.20 +-0.09, UVM2 = 19.79+-0.10, and UVW2 = 19.97 +-0.07, respectively (AB system). The source was not detected by Swift/XRT in either observations. We added up two XRT observations and derived a 3-sigma upper limit on the photon count rate of 2.3E-3 c/s in the XRT band 0.3-10 keV with the tool XIMAGE. If we assumed that the target is a tidal disruption event with a black body temperature of 8 eV and took the Galactic Nh as 1E20 cm^-2 obtained in the direction of the source, we obtained the 3-sigma upper limit of the unabsorbed X-ray flux of 1.84E-13 ergs s^-1 cm^-2, indicating that its primary emission is not in the soft X-ray band. We encourage UV, optical and radio follow-up observations.
