We report that the TeV blazar Mrk 421 is currently in outburst at TeV energies, as seen by the Whipple 10 m gamma-ray telescope. The source exceeded about 2 crab in flux over the past several nights! We continue to monitor it at TeV energies. Observations at other wavelengths are strongly encouraged.
