We report the near-infrared observations of the bright transient ASASSN-14jv obtained on 2014 Nov. 10.83 UT with the 1.2-m telescope at Mt.Abu Infrared Observatory using the Near-Infrared Imager/Spectrometer with a 256x256 NICMOS3 array. The observed magnitudes are J = 11.8 +/- 0.1 mag, H = 11.9 +/- 0.2 mag and K = 12.2 +/- 0.3 mag. The observed colors, (J-H) = -0.1 and (H-K) = -0.3 appear consistent with the blue colors reported at optical wavelengths by Pal et al. (ATel #6680). The absence of any source in 2MASS Point Source Catalog at the location of this source corroborates the suggested large amplitude of the outburst at optical wavelengths by Shappee et al. (ATel #6676).
