We report the classification of PSN J01340299-0104458 in UGC 1120 based on low resolution spectrum (range 350 - 920 nm) obtained on August 12.88UT, using the 2m Himalayan Chandra Telescope (+HFOSC) at the Indian Astronomical Observatory.

The spectrum of PSN J01340299-0104458 shows prominent SiII (635.5 nm) line and the W-shaped SII lines. The SuperNova IDentification code SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) provides a best match with a normal type-Ia supernovae close to maximum light. Correcting for the redshift of the host (z=0.015561: Catinella, Haynes & Giovanelli 2005, AJ, 130, 1037), the expansion velocity measured with respect to the minimum of the SiII line is ~10,000 km/sec.
