We report the discovery of an apparent nova in M81 on a co-added 1350-s unfiltered CCD frame taken on 2014 Feb. 10.210 UT with the 0.65-m telescope at Ondrejov.

The new object designated PNV J09553246+6903202 is located at R.A. = 9h55m32s.46, Decl. = +69o03'20".2 (equinox 2000.0), which is 3.8" west and 34.9" south of the center of M81 (see link to discovery image below).

The following unfiltered magnitudes were obtained using the 0.65-m telescope at Ondrejov (R-band magnitudes used from comparison stars):

2014 Feb. 4.139 UT, [21.3; 10.210, 18.8 +/- 0.2.

We thank H. Kucakova for getting M81 images on Feb. 4.139 UT.
