We call attention on our recent observation of the Gamma Ray source CGRaBS J1700+6830 also known as RGB J1700+685 with the CANICA NIR camera on the 2.1m telescope at the Observatorio Astrofisico Guillermo Haro, located in Cananea, Mexico. On June 21th, 2013 (JD2456464.912), we found this blazar to be in a new outburst. On this date the source was found to have a flux corresponding to H = 12,112 +/- 0.05. It is a flux about 6 times larger than previous NIR photometry H = 14,144 +/- 0.09 on JD 2455773.799109. We encourage further multiwavelength observations.
