As part of a monitoring program of potential Gamma Ray sources detected by Fermi LAT. We have observed a NIR brightening of the radio source GB6 J1604+5714 cross identified with SDSS J160437.35 +571436.6 a QSO (z=0.72). On May 23rd, 2012, epochs JD2456070.956 and earlier on JD2455459.622, we determine the flux in the H band to be 14.640+/- 0.04 and 15.902+/- 0.05 respectively. It is then, slowly rising in the NIR. An increase in flux of a factor of 3 in about 600 days is reported here. Observations were carried out with the 2.1m telescope of the Guillermo Haro Observatory operated by the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (Mexico), equipped with the instrument CANICA a NIR camera. We encourage further multi wavelength coverage.
