New Bright CV discovered by MASTER

MASTER OT J143857.37+703523.1 - new CV

MASTER-Amur auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 14h 38m 57.37s +70d 35m 23.1s on 2012-05-30.71734 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 13.0m (limit 18.5m).

The OT is seen in 2 images. We have MASTER-Tunka reference image without OT on 2012-01-02 19:44:40 UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 19.6m. The object has faded to 14.4m by 2012-06-01.64 UT.

The object is present in USNO-B catalog as USNO-B1.0 1605-0102553 (RA = 14 38 57.462, Dec = +70 35 22.97, pmRA=-32, DE=12, B1=19.92 R1=19.27 B2=18.46 R2=18.70 I=19.17) and in GALEX UV catalog as GALEX J143857.4+703523 (NUV=20.64+/-0.17). It is not present in GCVS or AAVSO VSX.

Based on the blue USNO-B color and outburst amplitude we conclude that MASTER OT J143857.37+703523.1 is a dwarf nova of UGSU or UGWZ subtype. Follow up observations are required.
