Radio observations of S5 0716+714

In response to ATel #3704 and ATel #3700 we observed S5 0716+714 (8C 0716+714) at a frequency of 16GHz on 2011.10.26 05:32 UT (55860.2311 mJD) with the AMI Large Array. Initial analysis shows a flux density in the radio of S(16GHz)=1.74+/-0.09Jy, with a rising spectrum of index alpha=0.46+/-0.24. This flux density is still below the highest archival value for this object at this frequency (2.59Jy; Lister & Homan 2005, AJ, 130, 1389). Monitoring will continue.
