The Swift satellite began observing PTF11iqb (ATel #3510) on July 24 and again on July 26. The UVOT data show a brightening source coincident with the location of the supernova. Including possible contamination from the host galaxy, we measure the following preliminary magnitudes:
MJD Filter Mag Mag_err
55766.0703 UVW1 13.99 0.01
55768.0078 UVW1 13.72 0.01
55766.0664 UVM2 13.58 0.01
55768.0000 UVM2 13.35 0.01
55766.0977 UVW2 13.66 0.01
55767.9922 UVW2 13.51 0.01
There is no source detected by the XRT at this position. We thank the Swift team for scheduling these ToO observations.
