We report on our recent observation of the blazar B2 0619+33 also known as GB6 J0622+3326
with the CANICA NIR camera on the 2.1m telescope at the Observatorio AstrofÃsico Guillermo Haro, located in Cananea, Mexico. On September 11th, 2010 (JD24555450.98694), we found this source to be in outburst. On this date the source was found to have a flux corresponding to H = 14.223 +/- 0.05. The
source was not detected by the 2mass all sky survey. This fact renders further support for the positive ID of this source with the Fermi LAT Gev flaring source reported in Atel #2829 and #2831.
We encourage further multi wavelength observations.
