VLA upper limit on Type IIn supernova SN 2009au

We observed the Type IIn supernova SN 2009au (CBET 1719) in ESO 443-21
with the Very Large Array on 2009 December 13.62 UT at 8.46 GHz band.
We do not detect any radio counterpart of the supernova. The 3-sigma
upper limit at the optical position of SN is 0.4 mJy. We thank the
VLA staff for making these observations possible.
