We call attention on our recent observations of PKS J0808-0751 with the Cananea NIR camera (CANICA) on the 2.1m telescope at the Observatorio Astrofísico Guillermo Haro. We found that this quasar shows a flux increase of 3.5 magnitudes in the Ks bandpass during the past year. Below, we list our photometric results for this period. This source has been tentatively associates with 3EG J0812-0646. At this point, We consider this object a high priority target for space borne gamma-ray observatories in order to confirm this association, as the object should show a significant flux increase at all wavelenghts.Hencefore, we encourage multi-wavelength monitoring of this object.
