We report the detection of a glitch event in the radio pulsar PSR B1834-10/PSR J1836-1008), which we monitor as part of the Jodrell Bank Pulsar Timing Programme. PSR B1834-10 is observed approximately every two weeks with Lovell telescope using a 384 MHz wide band centred on 1532 MHz. The pulsar has a spin-frequency of 1.78 Hz and a characteristic age of 756 kyr. This glitch is the fourth such event observed in this pulsar and occurred around 2026 October 20 ; ~5 years after the previously reported glitch in 2021. The glitch was detected using an automated glitch detection pipeline. Preliminary analysis indicates a fractional rotational spin-up of dF0/F0 = 2.4(3)E-09 (1 sigma uncertainties). We currently estimate the glitch epoch to be MJD 61333(1). At present, we find no evidence of any post-glitch transient behaviour or a change in the spin-down rate of the star; however we continue monitoring of the pulsar with increased cadence. Follow-up observations are other facilities are encouraged.
