4U 1543-47 is a black hole x-ray binary which has been found in a new X-ray outburst activity by MAXI/GSC on June 11 (ATel #14701). Since then, subsequent multi-band follow-up observations have been performed (ATels #14708, #14715, #14719, #14721, #14725, #14749, #14795). Recently, MeerKAT detected a radio brightening from the source on August 22 (ATel #14878).

Here we report on INTEGRAL hard X-ray observations of 4U 1543-47 during the period July-August.

The sky region of 4U 1543-47 was covered by INTEGRAL observations of the Galactic Center region carried out from 30 August 2021 at 14:12 UTC to 31 August 2021 at 05:48 UTC. 4U 1543-47 was detected at 8.7 sigma level in the energy band 25-60 keV (0.7 ks on source exposure). No detection was obtained in the higher energy band 60-100 keV. The measured flux (25-60 keV) is 68.4+/-7.8 mCrab (or approximately 6.2 x 10-10 erg cm-2 s-1). Previously 4U 1543-47 was in the field of view of INTEGRAL during observations performed from 17 July 2021 at 11:43 UTC to 18 July at 14:17 UTC (5.3 ks on source exposure) and from 2 August 2021 at 13:29 UTC to 3 August at 12:47 UTC (2 ks on source exposure). In both occasions, the source was not detected in the energy band 25-60 keV and the corresponding 3 sigma upper limits are 7 mCrab and 13 mCrab, respectively.
