During a pilot run for the proposed Coma and Virgo Exploration for Transients (COVET), using the Canada France Hawaii Telescope (CFHT) MegaPrime camera, we discovered two supernova candidates. On UT 2008 Mar 10, the first supernova was found at RA(J2000)=12h29m01.28s and Dec(J2000)=+12d22m18.8s in a galaxy with an SDSS photometric redshift of 0.123. The supernova was r'=20.7 on Mar 10 and r'=22.4 on Mar 5. The second supernova was found at RA(J2000)=12h31m18.90s and Dec(J2000)=+08d23m18.1s on a bar of a spiral galaxy with an SDSS spectroscopic redshift of 0.165. This supernova had r'=21.2 on Mar 10, r'=22.0 on Mar 5 and r'=22.5 on Mar 4. We note that images obtained on Mar 1 and Mar 2 were used as reference images for the first and second supernova respectively.
