We report the detection of FRB20201124A by the Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST) since MJD 59305. ATel #14497, ATel #14502; ATel #14508 reported the recently heightened activity of the CHIME-discovered FRB20201124A and the detections by CHIME and the ASKAP-CRAFT survey science projects. We observed FRB20201124A using the L-band 19beam system of FAST on April 1st and 2nd and conducted two griding observations. We detected more than 100 bursts from MDJ 59305 to 59310. Based on the detections of the bright bursts appearing simultaneously in multiple FAST beams, we localized the FRB to the following best-fit position: 05:08:03.4, +26:03:33.3. The error contour is elongated as shown in figure at https://psr.pku.edu.cn/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/FAST-FRB20201124A-POS.png. In 1 arcmin field, there are 4 candidate host galaxies. The FAST localization suggests that SDSS J050803.48+260338.0 is the preferred candidate, as indicated by the red star at the center of the error contour. This agrees with the localization of of ASKAP ATel #14515.
