We observed the location of FRB20201124A (ATel #14515, #14518), with the Swift satellite.
XRT started observing FRB20201124A on 2021-04-06 19:48:08 in photon counting mode and collected 7324 s in two different observations. There are three sources within the central part of the field of view, none close to the ASKAP radio position.
At the radio position, the 3 sigma 3 XRT upper limit is 2.53E-03 c/s.
At the suggested redshift of the host galaxy of z=0.098 (d=454 Mpc, ATel #14516), for a power law spectrum with photon index Gamma=2 and Galactic column density (NH=4.5x10^{21} cm^{-2}), the upper limit on the unabsorbed 0.3-10 keV luminosity is <4.4x10^{42} erg/s.
Swift observed the field with UVOT in u band. Summing all the available images we collected 6568 s. The source is not detected with an upper limit of u>22.72 (AB magnitude, 3 arcsec extraction region). The host galaxy reported in ATel #14515 and #14516 has u=22.69+/-0.32 (AB magnitude, 3 arcsec extraction region).
