In order to follow the latest outburst (Atel #1348,#1349,#1352)
of the Galactic black hole H1743-322 during
its decreasing phase, we asked for a ToO monitoring campaign
with Swift/XRT. The first observation lasting 2ks has been
performed on 2008, February 12th at 01:31:00 UT. The source has been detected
with a 0.1-10 keV count rate of 1.95+/-0.04 counts/s. The best fit is given by an absorbed
power law model with a photon index of 1.8+/-0.2 and a column density of
2.4+/-0.3 cm-2.
The power law slope, consistent with the value found by
INTEGRAL (Atel #1385) in soft gamma-ray, indicates that the source
is still in hard state (Atel #1378). We estimated an unabsorbed 2-10 keV flux of
(1.8+/-0.1)E-10 erg/cm2/s which translates in about 9 mCrab according with
the JEM-X upper limit (Atel #1385).
We will continue to monitor the source flux in the next weeks with Swift/XRT.
We would like to thank N. Gehrels and the whole Swift Team for making these
observations possible.
