We observed the ultra-luminous, pulsating X-ray source NGC 300
ULX1 with 16 antennas of the MeerKAT radio telescope on 2018 May 01.3
(UT), corresponding to MJD 58239.3, following renewed activity of the
source and detection of a periodicity in the X-ray emission (Atel
#11158, #11174, #11179, #11228, #11229, #11282 and #11285). Our observations
were during a period when the X-ray flux was well above the Eddington
luminosity.
Our observations spanned a bandwidth of ~800 MHz around a central
frequency of 1280 MHz, and had resolution of ~6". We detect no
emission at the position of NGC 300 ULX-1 (RA 00:55:04.9, dec
-37:41:43.7; J2000), and place 3-sigma limit on the 1280-MHz
flux-density of 92 micro-Jy, corresponding to a limit on the (nu *
L_nu) radio luminosity of <5.0 x 10**32 erg/s for a distance of 1.86
Mpc.
