We obtained a spectrum of the transient AT 2019lcg with the SPRAT spectrograph (resolution R ~ 350; Piascik et al. 2014) on the 2-m Liverpool Telescope (LT; Steele et al. 2004) on 2019 Jul 19.18 UT.

The spectrum shows strong, double-peaked Balmer emission (Hα, Hβ, Hγ) and we measure the FWHM of the Hα line to be ~ 3000 km/s. We also detect emission from O I (7773 Å) and evidence of emission from the Bowen blend (~4645 Å). This spectrum confirms that AT 2019lcg is a nova in M31 after peak brightness.
