The optical transient ASASSN-19oa was discovered on
2019-06-03.17 UT by the ASAS-SN survey and classified as a dwarf
nova based on the Du Pont telescope spectroscopy (ATel #12842).
Swift observed ASASSN-19oa for 1.2ks on 2019-06-07.09. No X-ray
source was detected by Swift/XRT with an upper limit of
0.004 +/-0.002 cts/s. Assuming power law emission with the photon
index of 1.7 and HI column density of 3x10^20 cm^-2 this translates
to the unabsorbed 0.3-10 keV flux limit of 1.6x10^-13 ergs/cm^2/s.
ASASSN-19oa is detected by Swift/UVOT with the ultraviolet magnitude
UVW2 = 15.51 +/-0.03 (Vega system). Its position measured relative
to UCAC3 (Zacharias et al. 2010 AJ, 139, 2184) stars in the field:
12:37:51.77 -62:54:28.8 +/-0.2" J2000
We thank the Neil Gehrels Swift Observatory team and PI, Brad Cenko,
for rapid scheduling of this ToO observation.
