We report on optical spectroscopy (range 370-790 nm, resolution FWHM 15 A, 2 x 1200 sec. exposure) and Rc band photometry (4 x 30 sec. exposure) of CRTS (Drake et al. 2009, ApJ, 696, 870) SN candidate CSS151015:014423+004024 with the 6-m BTA+SCORPIO of the SAO RAS. The observations carried out on 2015, October 18, 00:15:16--01:00:51 UT.
Cross-correlation of the spectrum with a SN template library of SNID code (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) shows that CSS151015:014423+004024 is very well consistent with the normal type Ia SN 1994ae at a phase near 10 days after the maximum light, redshifted by z = 0.106 +/- 0.004.
The magnitude of object during the observations was R = 19.5 +/- 0.1. This estimation is based on the several nearby SDSS stars (their magnitudes were converted with the Lupon 2005 equations).
