We report the discovery, with the 0.76-m Katzman Automatic Imaging Telescope (KAIT) at Lick Observatory, of a possible new supernova in the nearby galaxy UGC 11797 (z=0.01492). The new object, dubbed PSN J21431689+4334476 (by the IAU), is located at (J2000.0) coordinates RA = 21:43:16.89, Dec = +43:34:47.6. Following discovery in an unfiltered image obtained at 10:12 UT on 2015 July 06, KAIT autonomously began a sequence of triggered follow-up observations in the U, B, V, R, I, and clear (roughly R) filters beginning only 5 minutes later. Using stars from the USNO-B1 catalog for reference, we measure R~18.0 mag at this time. The target was also marginally detected one days earlier on 2015 July 05.42 UT with R~18.3, indicating the object is rising. The target was not detected at this location on July 03 and July 04 UT with image limiting mag of R~18.2. An finding chart was posted at the following website: http://w.astro.berkeley.edu/~zwk/findingchart/PSN_J21431689+43344757.jpg
