We report an optical spectrum (range 340-920 nm) of CSS150524:231651+182833 (discovered by CRTS) that was obtained on May 26.9 2015 UT with the 2.4-m telescope (+YFOSC) at LiJiang Gaomeigu Station of YNAO. The spectrum is consistent with a type Ia supernova a few weeks after the maximum light. Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024) shows that it matches with SN 1997do at t = +21 days. Adopting a redshift of 0.044 for its host galaxy NGC 7572, an expansion velocity of about 9800 km/s can be derived from the absorption minimum of Si II 635.5 nm.
