MASTER-SAAO started at the end of December 2014. For a 3 monthes we discovered 50 optical transients: 6 PSN, 21 Dwarf Novae, 18 CV, 3 variables, 1 mira-type, 1 high proper motion star.
MASTER OT J192024.77-512215.1 discovery - new Dwarf Nova or possible SN
MASTER-SAAO auto-detection system (
Lipunov et al., Advances in Astronomy, MASTER Global Robotic Net, 2010 ) discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 19h 20m 24.77s -51d 22m 15.1s on 2015-03-22.06501 UT.
The OT unfiltered magnitude is 18.1m (the limit is 19.9m). There are 6 images with OT.
There is no minor planet at this place.
We have reference image without OT on 2015-02-15.11241 UT with 19.2 unfiltered magnitude limit.
The discovery and reference images are available at: http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/192024.77-512215.1.png
There are 2 GSC2.3.2 stars near this coordinates with jmag(blue)>22. But MASTER OT is between them. So this flare can be both possible SN and DN.
Spectral observations are required.
