We managed to perform some optical follow-up on the OT
reported by Tiurina et al. (ATel #6419), remotely using the
17" robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project,
Italy.
A 600-seconds exposure, unfiltered, centered on 26.9248 Aug.
2014 clearly shows the source mentioned by Tiurina at
al.(our end figures: 48.19"; 34.9"; J2000.0, based on
UCAC-4). We estimated a magnitude of 18.9 (using R mags from
UCAC-4 for the reference stars, the QE of our CCD device
peaking in the red part of the spectrum).
We find no evidence this reported optical transient candidate is fading.
