We have obtained a low-resolution spectrum of the supernova SN 2014J
in the nearby
galaxy M82 with the HOWPol attached with the 1.5 m Kanata telescope at
Higashi-Hirsohima Observatory. The spectrum was obtained on Jan 22.4 and covers
the wavelength range from 4500-9000 A. We confirm that the spectrum is similar
to that of high-velocity SNe Ia at a week before maximum. SiII 6355
reach 15000 km/s,
which means that this feature rapidly declines from 20000km/s reported by
Cao et al. Possible diffuse interstellar band (DIB), and NaID
absorption lines might be
detected. Furthermore observations are encouraged.
