Discovery of a new nova candidate in M31

We report discovery of a new nova candidate--PTF12ahb from PTF daily monitoring of M31. The candidate is located at RA(J2000)=00:41:46.70 DEC(J2000)=+40:15:06.1 with a R-band magnitude of 19.1 on Feb 01.117. Nothing was there in an image taken on Jan 28.142 with a three-sigma limiting magnitude of 20.6. All photometric measurements are calibrated to USNO-B1.0 catalog.
