Swift UVOT detection of SN2011ek

The Swift satellite began observing SN2011ek (CBETs #2783 and #2785) on August 9th, 2011. The UVOT data show a relatively bright source coincident with the location of the supernova. Including possible contamination from the host galaxy, we measure the following preliminary magnitudes:

There is no source detected by the XRT at this position, roughly corresponding to a 3sigma upper limit of 4x10^-13 erg/cm^2/s.
