We plan to take spectra of supernova 2010jl in the ultraviolet with the Space Telescope Imaging Spectrograph on Thursday, November 11, at about 22:00 UT. This is a target of opportunity for HST program 12242, UV Studies of a Core Collapse Supernova. Observations at other wavelengths are encouraged. We would be happy to hear from others who are observing SN 2010jl.
