Supernova Candidate from CSS

We have detected a likely Supernova in Catalina Sky Survey images from 11 Jun 2008 UT. The object has the following parameters:
CSS080611:121642+410211 2008-06-11 UT 04:52:41 RA 12:16:41.53 Dec 41:02:11.2 Mag 17.7 Type SN

The object is near the edge of galaxy SDSSJ121642.18+410223.7 (z = 0.039, mags: g~ 17.9, r~17.6, i~17.3, z~17.5). No transients are present in earlier epochs of CSS imaging, including data taken on the 8th May UT (to mag ~19.5), or prior SDSS or DSS images to mag ~22.
