Supernova from the Catalina Sky Survey

We have detected another likely Supernova in Catalina Sky Survey (CSS) images from 8 Jun 2008 UT. The object has the following parameters:

CSS080608:003511+231515 2008-06-08 UT 11:00:36 RA 00:35:11.32 Dec 23:15:15.1 Mag 16.8 Type SN

The object is near the edge of galaxy 2MASX J00351050+2315184 (mags J ~ 14.7, H ~ 14.2, K ~ 13.8) No transients are present in earlier epochs of CSS imaging including data taken on the 13th February UT (to mag ~19), or prior DSS or PQ images to mag ~21. A confirmation image was taken on Jun 10th UT. At this time the R-band magnitude was 16.37.
