We report the classification of ASASSN-16na in the galaxy 2MASX J04091030+2126244 based on a low-resolution spectrum obtained on 2016 Nov. 8.0 UT with the Nordic Optical Telescope (+ ALFOSC; range 350-950nm). Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) and GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A&A, 488, 383) provide best matches with SN 1991T-like Type Ia supernovae around 5 days before the maximum light.
