The Asiago Transient Classification Program (Tomasella et al. 2014, AN, 335, 841) reports the spectroscopic classification of SN 2016faa, SN 2016fck, SN 2016ffh, AT 2016ffx and AT 2016fgw. The targets are supplied by the ATLAS survey (see Tonry et al. ATel #8680) and the Pan-STARRS Survey for Transients (PSST, see Huber et al. ATel #7153)

The observations were performed with the Asiago 1.82 m Copernico Telescope equipped with AFOSC (range 340-820 nm; resolution 1.4 nm).

(1) The spectroscopic redshift of the host galaxy CGCG 249-011 was retrieved from SDSS DR13. From the position of the minimum of the Si II 635nm feature, we infer an expansion velocity of 17400 km/s for the ejected material.

(2) Low S/N spectrum showing a blue continuum and almost featureless but for a narrow Halpha at rest frame wavelength. Likely a CV.

(3) The redshift derived from the SN features matching is consistent with the host galaxy (CGCG 226-033) photometric redshift (photoZ=0.029) from SDSS DR13. The Si II 635nm feature indicates an expansion velocity of 10400 km/s.

(4) The spectroscopic redshift of the host galaxy 2MASX J01365130-0848250 was retrieved from SDSS DR13. The Si II 635nm feature indicates an expansion velocity of 11200 km/s.

The classifications were performed using the GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A&A, 488, 383) and SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) tools. The Asiago classification spectra are posted at the website http://sngroup.oapd.inaf.it.
