We report that CCD spectra (range 350-1050 nm) of AT2016cyw and AT2016ehy were obtained on Aug. 02.5 and 02.3 UT, respectively, with the 3-m Shane reflector (+ Kast spectrograph) at Lick Observatory. The two objects were classified via cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the "SuperNova IDentification" code (SNID; Blondin & Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024) including the updated templates of Silverman et al. (2012 MNRAS, 425, 1789) and Liu & Modjaz (2014 arXiv:1405.1437). We find that AT2016cyw is a Type IIP supernova likely several months post-explosion while AT2016ehy is a Type Ia supernova approximately 20 days post maximum brightness. For AT2016cyw, SNID identifies spectroscopic similarities to SNe 2004et and 2004dj. For AT2016ehy, SNID identifies similarities to SN 1999aa-like events (SN 1999aa itself and SN 2008ds) as well as similarities to the spectra of several normal SNe Ia.
