Spectra (range 350-760 nm) of supernova ATLAS16bcb (ATEL 8126),
were obtained on June, 08 2016 UT with
the F. L. Whipple Observatory 1.5-m telescope (+ FAST).
Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the
"Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007,
Ap.J. 666, 1024) shows ATLAS16bcb in galaxy 2MASX J17093078+2136344
matches best with normal type Ia supernova sn2008Z at a phase of +5 days
after maximum brightness. Redshift of 0.0488 was
determined from narrow H-alpha emission from the host galaxy
.
