We report an optical spectrum (range 350-900 nm) of AT 2016bkx (KAIT-16P), discovered by KAIT, on UT Mar.26.6 2016 with the 2.4-m telescope (+YFOSC) at LiJiang Gaomeigu Station of Yunnan Astronomical Observatories (YNAO). The spectrum is characterized by broad P-Cygni profiles of hydrogen, and is consistent with a type IIP supernova at 1-2 weeks from the maximum light. Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the spectral comparison tool SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024 ) shows that it matches with SN 1999em at t~+10 days. Removing the redshift of about 0.01 for the host galaxy UGC 03838 (Mrk 7), we derive the expansion velocity of about 10000 km/s from absorption
minimum of the Ha line.
